I could share with you the recipes I've posted over the last week, or how about the last couple of years that are some serious game day pleasers.
Instead I did some browsing around the web and compiled 20 seriously drool-worthy recipes that I think would be an amazing addition to your game-watching experience.
All of them are totally doable by kick-off tomorrow, so for all of those procrastinators out there (ahem, me) here you go!

Superbowl Bites: Buffalo Blue Cheese Dip
It can't be the Superbowl without a dip.
My all-time favorite will always be onion dip. I can literally eat vats of it.
It also can't be the SuperBowl without something buffalo. I, of course, mean the spicy flavor of buffalo wings, not the Buffalo Bills, who sadly haven't been to the show in almost 10 years and have never actually won!
Anyway, since I have yet to make a delicious spicy buffalo treat for this year's round of Superbowl bites, it only seemed right to combine the two classic dishes into one Buffalo Blue Cheese Dip.

Superbowl Bites: Pulled Pork Nachos
Nachos are another go to game food for me.
Actually when we go to the bar to watch any sport, I always crave nachos. The problem is the boy always wants wings, hence the Buffalo Chicken Nachos I made last year. They were delicious, but this year was all about taking one dish and turning it into a couple of different things.
That's where these nachos come in. I had the Beer Braised Pulled Pork leftover, so why not turn it into a delicious tray of nachos?

Superbowl Bites: BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza
Who doesn't love pizza?
I don't think I know anyone who doesn't. Do you?
I think that makes it the perfect party food.
It's also ridiculously simple to make. Giving it more points as the perfect party food.

Superbowl Eats: Beer Braised Pulled Pork
Who doesn't love a pulled pork sammy?
If you don't I'm sorry but you don't know what your missing.
What's great about this recipe is that it can be paired with any nu,ber of BBQ sauces for a completely personalized experience. I think I'm going to make a tangy Carolina-style sauce to go with this, and I might have to work on a sweet and spicy one for the Boy. Either way this is great jumping off point for whatever your favorite is.

Superbowl Bites: Oven Fries and A GIVEAWAY!!
And we're back with the 2012 edition of Superbowl Bites and I'm not going to lie and couldn't be more excited about this Superbowl.
Why, you ask?
Why because my beloved NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS will be heading down to Indy to (hopefully) destroy the Giants. I promise I'll keep this and future Superbowl related posts free of trash talk, I'm not that kind of fan.
Did you know that the Superbowl is the second biggest food holiday, second only to Thanksgiving?!
Nutty, right?

Superbowl Eats Round-up: 12 Recipes for your Superbowl Party
Superbowl Sunday is three things for me: Football, Commercials and Food. Well since I moved to Canada we don't get the crazy one-off commercials or cool movie trailers, the Canadian station sells the commercial time to local advertisers, who don't seem to appreciate the importance of Superbowl commercials. It was an adjustment at first, but I deal and it just brings the food even more to the forefront, as if that were even possible! If you've been reading along this week, you've seen some fun game time food that I came up with especially for the big day. This post is devoted to some of my favorite game time food as well as some delectable sounding recipes I've happened upon on the web.

Superbowl Eats: One-Bite Fried Mozzarella & Spicy Tomato Sauce
I LOVED mozzarella sticks growing up. Even in college we would buy the frozen ones and to make them even better, pan fry them instead of baking. There is something about the ooey-gooey melting cheese dipped in marinara that is just pure perfection to me. Even as a grown up I'm not too good to order mozzarella sticks or any kind of fried cheese when we're out. When the Boy and I go out for Greek the one given is always that we will get Saganaki, this flaming cheese that is far more flashy than it's Italian cousin, mozzarella sticks but they will always be my favorite.
When brainstorming good Superbowl snacks, I knew I wanted to try my hand at fried mozzarella, but I wanted to make a super spicy marinara to help cut the richness of the cheese. What I realized in making it is that this is a great make ahead party snack. You can cook the sauce and bread the cheese in advance, refrigerate the cheese until you're ready to fry and just reheat the sauce. It won't take more than 5-10 minutes once your guests arrive and you'll impress your friends with a delicious and nostalgic gameday bite.

Superbowl Eats: Buffalo Chicken Nachos
Anytime we go to the bar to watch a game the Boy always orders wings and I always order nachos. And while I'd love to share both plates of food, more often than not he's not too thrilled with my nachos, complaining that each chip doesn't have cheesy goodness and that many are soggy. While I love nachos, I do agree with his assessment of most bar nachos. I also love wings almost as much as the Boy and luckily he lets me steal one or two or ten from his plate, but I do feel guilty at his lack of enthusiasm for my food. I think sharing is always more fun when each person wants bites of everything.
So with the Superbowl quickly approaching, and in an effort to make a plate of nachos that the Boy would not only eat a few from but LOVE, I decided to combine the two.

Superbowl Eats: Caramelized Onion & Roasted Garlic Dip
Even though my team isn't playing this Sunday in the Superbowl, I'll still be watching. For me the Superbowl is as much about the game as it is about the commercial, halftime and of course FOOD. Living in Canada we don't get the awesome commercials, which I miss alot so I make up for it with lots of tasty eats. One of my favorite creations and a perfect game time food, it this homemade onion dip. It takes a bit more time to make than using the dry onion soup mix, but it is worth it.

It's Superbowl time!

Now my team may not be playing but the American Football loving girl that I am I still love the event that is the Superbowl. I love eating all kinds of delish game time food, watching the ads and the performances as well as the game. We don't get the ads up here in Canada, but we get everything else, so that means I need to make some good eats for the boy and I. I posted my Slow Cooker Turkey Chili Wednesday, so today I'll give you a round up of some of my favorite foods for the big game.
Grilled Wings with a Chipotle Dry Rub - If you want are in a climate that makes grilling a possibility, make these! They boy loves them and asks for them every chance he gets. If you don't have access to whole dried chipotles, chipotle powder works great too.

Chicken & Roasted Yam Quesadillas - a delicious twist on a traditional quesadilla and perfect for leftover roast chicken.
Muffaletta Sandwich - perfect because it's from New Orleans! There's not enough time now to make a proper olive salad but you can improvise by putting it together today or tomorrow and let it marinate until Sunday, not ideal but it will still make a pretty amazing sandwich! If the boy wants something like this I will make a quick pepper salad with roasted red peppers and peronicinos, garlic, olive oil, salt & pepper. It's not the same but is delicious in it's own way
Maple Whiskey Pulled Chicken Sandwiches - Another super easy slow cooker recipe perfect for football.

Buffalo Chicken Pizza - This one is a crowd pleaser. If you are feeding a crowd. you can roll out and par bake your pizza crusts for about 10 minutes early in the day and then just assemble the pizzas and finish off when your guests arrive.
Hope these idea help spark your thoughts for your upcoming Superbowl gathering. Let me know if you try any of these recipes or what some of your favorite game time foods are. Enjoy!

Superbowl Turkey Chili
OK folks, as many of you know I'm engaged. Well our date is set for this summer and I have a dress, planning is going swimmingly. It's all good. Except for this whole dress thing. While I'm perfectly happy with how I look in it know. I am completely buying into the hype that this is the most photographed day of your life, blah, blah. That being said I'm working out and modifying my diet to get to where I want to be. I'm going to use you my dear readers to help keep me honest. This all came about because I had a less than good food weekend, as can be seen in my recent Beer Bistro review. While I know I'm the type of person that needs to be able to taste things, I think I need to get better at only taking one bite of something bad and learning to moderate what I'm eating better. Case in point, the corn dogs and frites I had at Beer Bistro. The point is, I'll be writing a bit about the food I'm eating as well as what I'm cooking in a effort to help me be more mindful of what I put into my mouth, in a effort to better fit into my fabulous dress.
Now on to why you are reading this post, a fabulously tasty and easy chili for your Superbowl Celebration this weekend . Last week, a co-worker asked me last week for a slow cooker chili recipe to make for a Superbowl gather she is attending. I've made plenty of chili's this winter so far, but haven't ever really written down what I did. In an effort give her an accurate recipe and because I love having chili around for quick and easy dinners after a long day in the office. I set out to make some this weekend. Plus using turkey and lots of beans makes chili a protein and fiber rich option that paired with a green salad is a very well-rounded meal. I'm also trying to counter balance the bad from the weekend with some good this week. But for the good also has to be tasty and full of flavor.

Superbowl Sunday!
With Superbowl Sunday rapidly approaching, I thought I'd do a round-up of different treats and snacks that are great for game watching with a small group or a crowd. Whether you are a Steelers fan or a Cardinals fan or like me a Patriots fan, Super Bowl Sunday is always a great day to bring friends together to hang out and watch the game, the musical performances and the commercials (always my favorite part when my boys aren't playing) and of course eat tons of food!
Below are some treats that I've made over the last six months that I think make great Super Bowl Sunday food.
MUNCHIES
Jalapeno Poppers on the Grill - This take some time to prep and cook, but I promise they are worth it. They are really only conducive to those of us who live in warmer climates and are cool with grilling outside as I'm not sure they'll work too well on an indoor grill.
Balsamic Drummettes - Here's a different take on Buffalo Wings, though you can never go wrong with Buffalo Wings, these are great if you want to offer a variety of wing flavors and super easy!
Zucchini Fries - For anyone who's being a bit more health conscious these are great, crispy with tons of flavor and a great baked alternative to fries. The apricot dipping sauce totally makes them too.
SANDWICHES
BBQ Pulled Chicken Sandwiches - This is an awesome slow cooker meal that you can start either the night before or early Sunday morning and have an easy peasy sandwich for yourself and your guests.
Cheddar Burger with Chipotle Ketchup - The star here is the chipotle ketchup. If you make burgers your own way, take the time to make the chipotle ketchup, it's a winner.
Chipotle Mango Pulled Pork - This is a new creation (just posted last week) but it was so easy and flavorful and another slow cooker meal that would be great for feeding a whole crew on Super Bowl Sunday. Topped with avocado or coleslaw it's great.
SWEET TREATS
Red Velvet Cupcakes - If you are a Cardinals fan, these delicious red cakes are the perfect sweet treat for when your team wins.
Boston Cream Cupcakes - I know, I know they have Boston in the name, but these black and gold treats are the Steelers colors and a must have for those Steelers fans out there. Plus they are made with prepackaged cake and pudding mixes making them super fast & easy
Hope these ideas help you in planning your perfect Super Bowl party. Enjoy the game!
